Racheal Smetana, PsyD is an Assistant Professor and Clinical Neuropsychologist at the University of Virginia (UVA) School of Medicine, with a primary appointment in the Department of Psychiatry & Neurobehavioral Sciences. Clinically, Dr. Smetana sees patients with a range of medical and neurological conditions, but her primary clinical interests include acquired brain injury and epilepsy. She co-directs a specialty clinic for youth and adolescents with sports-related concussion and is actively involved in research on concussion in collegiate and para athletes. Outside of UVA, Dr. Smetana is involved in a number of national neuropsychology organizations.
